Mykola was a construction worker when the great war came. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he went to the military registration and enlisted. First, in the Ivan Bohun Brigade, then in the legendary 93rd Kholodnyi Yar Brigade. He was first wounded in the battles for Vovchansk, but after three months of rehabilitation he returned to his comrades, despite the fact that doctors were ready to discharge him for health reasons.
But in February 2024, near Bakhmut, his life was divided into "before" and "after." Due to Russian mortar fire, Mykola lost his arms and legs. His body sustained severe shrapnel wounds, and his internal organs were destroyed. He miraculously survived. After a coma, surgeries and complex treatment, he began his recovery at the Unbroken Center in Lviv. There, in the gym and during training, a decision was born: to drive as before.
