Each of these children has a difficult story behind them. Some have lost their parents. Some are waiting for their return. Someone prays every day for those who are defending Ukraine at the front.
And we understand that our duty to their families is to give them the opportunity to study, dream and build their future. This is the least we can do to show our gratitude to those who are defending the country and to commemorate those who gave their lives for it.
Today, the lyceum students of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are starting their journey. Tomorrow, they will make history - as teachers, rescuers, scientists, police officers, military personnel or entrepreneurs.
