SBU eliminates assassins who killed SBU colonel in Kyiv
During a special operation, SBU officers eliminated Russian special services agents who, on the instructions of the Russian Federal Security Service, murdered a colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv.
The special operation to find the killers of the Ukrainian defender was personally led by the SBU Head, Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk.
"An agent-combat group of the Russian Federal Security Service was sent to Ukraine in advance and three days ago committed the murder of an SBU officer, our brother Colonel Ivan Voronich. As a result of covert search and active counterintelligence measures, the enemy's lair was discovered. During the arrest, they began to resist, there was a firefight, so the villains were eliminated. I would like to remind you that the only prospect of the enemy on the territory of Ukraine is death!" said the SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk.
In addition, the head of the Ukrainian special service thanked the officers of the National Police of Ukraine for their professionalism and support.
He emphasized that effective counteraction to Russian special services is a key area of activity for the Security Service. In particular, the SBU acts proactively and prevents 85% of crimes that the enemy tries to commit on the territory of our country.
According to the investigation, the murder of the Ukrainian defender was carried out by two people - a man and a woman. Their supervisor ordered them to follow the SBU officer, to establish his daily schedule and travel routes. Subsequently, the racist gave the killers the coordinates of the cache where the gun with a silencer was located.
After killing the SBU colonel, the killers tried to "lay low". However, SBU and National Police officers established their location in Kyiv region. This morning, a special operation was conducted, during which members of the Russian FSB agent group began to resist, so they were eliminated.
As a reminder, on Friday, July 11, Russian special services agents killed an SBU officer in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. Criminal proceedings were opened under Article 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, member of a public formation for the protection of public order and the state border, or a military serviceman).

Ukraine is capable of processing grown oilseeds into meal and oil. In order to keep raw materials in the country and earn on processing, the parliament intends to introduce an export duty on soybeans and rapeseed. It envisages deduction of 10% with gradual reduction of the rate by 1% annually for five years. It will apply only to traders and will not affect producers.
According to forecasts, the export duty on soybeans and rapeseed will bring Ukraine more than 7bn hryvnyas annually.
